CE marking and Declaration of Performance (DoP)

The Construction Products Regulation came into force on 1 July 2013. The Regulation also effected the CE marking of construction products.

Previously required by manufacturers for CE marking, the EC Declaration of Conformity will be taken out of use and replaced by the Declaration of Performance (DoP). CE marking is now mandatory for products, which are covered by a harmonised European Norm (hEN) or if the manufacturer has products approved by a European Technical Assessment (ETA).

Finnish Fibreboard Ltd. hardboard products have carried the CE marking since 2004. We have now updated our previous EC Declaration of Conformity to the new Declaration of Performance.
